Default Reblackening/redying the headlight buckets

Does anyone know of a product that will recolor the black plastic that wraps the headlights? Mine look hideous and the "Back to Black" stuff doesnt work for long on it.

Wurth satin black trim paint is really good for stuff like this. FWIW though, I have found all other trim paints to be crap. The Wurth stuff rocks.

Now to get paint to stick to somewhat porous plastic that has been coated in back-to-black.

I'm interested on how this will turn out, since mine get a regular back-to-black treatment too.

It will stick to the plastic no problem with some sanding prep. Obviously they will need a good cleaning with dawn then alcohol to remove the back to black off.

Like Doc said. I'd use scotchbrite with the Dawn/alcohol for cleaning, then a little adhesion promoter, then paint.

Use Krylon Fusion spray paint. This stuff will stick to anything. Just make sure you clean the area really well to remove any vinyl dressings that have been used.
