.
Actually.. I wouldn't go any higher than the .82. I woudl honestly still keep the .63 if I was only going to go to 400whp. INSTA Spool.. Same horsepower. so.. just my .02. Bigger is not always better on turbos.. most should resist when most dont.

EDIT>> OMG.. thats funny.. I just read Dukes post. practically the same post.. well said DUKE!

there is a mount that is made to make install easier. Tial, DDP,CEP, Vitesse, who the hell ever.. tired of that argument..... It runs around $3-500.. I can't remember the price.

I saw the mount, looks nice but I guess the crossover has to be modified too and from other threads I read the Tial v band gives you a bit more room, or does the mount solve the clearnce issues as well?

I was thinking .63 same as you and Duke said. Spool is more important and that hotside can take approx 500 crank hp if I remember correctly.

it will go a little higher than 500crank hp depending on VE of engine, and how high a psi you want to go.. diminishing returns at the 500 WHP level.. but its been done with this turbo.

all in all.. YES>. I got 4hundred and change at 22psi. I now know I didn't advance the timing anywhere near where I should have. my fault, but the power was there and it was fantastic. Here is how quickly it spooled to 410hp at the wheels.. You can hear it insta spool between gears and low shifting. i miss doin this.. killing me. car weighs 2700lbs with him and me in it. hes around 230lbs.. lol

I guess it depends on what the desired outcome is. For Nick it would be the smaller, more rapidly spooling setup agreed. A .63 on a 76 for a 3L 16v would be insanely responsive but I can't help but think it might be overpowered up top, no?

Pat I am looking at this for the 8v setup. For 16v I would prob go up one size on the turbine.

Oh, Ok. Now I am confused...not that this is any great difficulty.

I pretty much have a Tial / GT3076 .63 on my 2.5 now. It spools very nicely. I would be tempted to go to the one size up larger housing for a 3L 8v or 16v Nick.

btw did you get my email, or perhaps I sent it to the wrong address?
