What a shame - you could have had mine for 285 dollars - only slight use.

Well how did you like it? You don't need a piggyback with it correct? I'm so sick of messing with my power perfect I decided I'm going to put down the money and be done with it. Do you still have your Quad-M?

Ok, changed my mind. The used Quad-M sounds better and better every time I see the price tag of $850. If anybody has one, please pm me with details and as many pics as you can, in the car or out, or both. Thanks,

Adam

"The QUAD-M Meter solutions have a built in fuel controller enabling you to adjust the output voltages up or down like a piggy back fuel controller"

So you still have to mess with adjusting, just all in one instead of additonal controller.

But a built in unit might not allow the flexibility of an external controller.

Now if it was self adjusting....

To get it right, you have GOT to change the base code in the DME. There is no getting around it. AFM measures volume. DME factors temperature and barometric pressure to calculate mass. The MAF measures mass directly. You've got to bypass the other stuff, and the only way to do it is through the code.

Yep - the Quad-M is nothing but a sensor with a piggyback built in... It will still have all the problems associated with running a MAF without changing the DME code.
I explained some of the inherent problems with running a MAF here:

Looks quite similar to the laptop software for the power perfect:
