Hey gruhsy,
Thanks for the offer but I have all the gear already...just a little slow on the build! A ten year old who is crazy active keeps my time booked. Is your car done? How do you like it? Does it run well? What kind of numbers are you making and is it still linear power or more on/off switch?

Here are a couple of pic.s of when I went to get the car and the drive back from Pennsylvania to Alberta.

Some more progress and with the help of great friends, we hope to put the engine back in the car this weekend. I am glad i have buddies who are smarter and way more competent than I am!!!

I had my car at my neighbors garage but his garage is not heated!!! It was convenient because he is the fellow who is doing most of the work (I am a good helper but certainly not skilled enough to tackle this by myself). I just trailered my gear to my buddies shop last night! He has a 2500 sq foot heated shop with a 10 000 lbs lift. We are going to try and get the the lions share of the work done this Friday, so if any of you Edmonton boys feel like getting dirty drop me a PM and the more the merrier!!! Beer is on me!

Thanks chrenan, that would be great! I've got 3 buddies that know more than me (that's not saying much!! lol) and myself. There really is a **** pile more to do but more hands make light work, especially if those hands have dipped into the 944 pool before!!

@reno808---luck and a little bit of magic to get it done in a day!!! lol All I see now is boxes of parts, jars of nuts and bolts, transaxle here, motor there, car on a hoist.......you get the picture!!!

Starting to see light at the end of the tunnel! The turbos is on as are the injectors and fuel rail and a number of the hoses. The engine is completely re-sealed and the belts adjusted and the motor is now bolted on to the new 3 piece cross-member!! Oh yeah, the new stage 2.5, spec clutch is in too!!

Car is pretty much done now. Solid cam is now broken in with about 1 hour run time. Tuning time now and need to sort out a couple small things. Power is pretty impressive even with the boost turned off. I had the waste gate wide open when I ran it and not tuned. Does run well but need to install a bung for the stock 02 sensor. She is going to be pretty fast when it's broken in.

take care,
Jason

oh ya, when I head up to Edmonton in the spring I should look all the Edmonton guys up. Maybe a get together Calgary, Edmonton or something. Not sure if anyone has done that yet

Very nice! You're really going to town on that thing! I love the shop cat, so much better than a shop dog.
