ok.. no valves? and is that on a stock head? They are huge ports..

yeh thats how i increased the flow numbers on mine i just put it on the flow bench "no valves "
the stock flow numbers of a 4 valve head are about 290-300ish i think @400

It’s a 968 head with stock size intake valves, porting work and a good valve job. It was also measured with the intake manifold in place (SFR 16v manifold). The flow difference between #3 and #4 was 4 cfm - about 1%!

I still have some more measuring to do – I will take some pics and maybe a video on Thursday…

Fredrick – the placement of the tank depends on a lot of things. For a track car the passenger foot well area is a good choice to keep the lines short – but I like to keep that area open for passengers. I also never liked the idea of a gallon or two of 250 degree oil anywhere near me in case of a big crash. Deep fried is not a good way to go!

The pump you have has an air/oil separator – that makes the long runs to the back of the car possible. Run the cooler on the line between the pump and the tank. Nothing wrong with running the oil lines inside the car (I would use stainless for that).

If you are running the car on the street I would put the tank in the spare tire well.
