This is the list as it stands today:

Who's attending and what they're bringing: (to give us an idea of how many people to feed)
-Van (dyno)
-Porschhhh951 (and wife) (??)
-MM951 (lost HP)
-CRM... (Japanese Coleslaw)
-Minho78 (ribs, sausage or maybe sardines & red wine)
-James Chimney + 2 friends (homemade salsa & chips)
-Theykallmekem (cupcakes)
-Oldjammer (??)
-Reno808
-Techno duck
-?? JBrown
-?? Gstreev
-?? MK_951
I have a few more local friends that are likely to show up.

I think, the main thing we might be lacking, is beverages. If we do the BBQ from Mike's place, we still might want some snacky-finger-food.

It's OK with me, but I ask that they reply here so we can keep an accurate head count.

I am coming from LI, so unless you are also it's just easier to go up at my own pace as traffic is always a crap shoot.

lol, ask mike what happened the last time we tried to meet up to caravan out for 944fest.

I can bring beer and soda. Is this barbecue place going to bring the stuff out to vans? Do we need to go pick it up? Are we eating there?

What's the deal?

OK, I got a chance to talk to the BBQ people today on my way into work.. woulda done it sooner but they have been on vacation - They said to find out what everyone wants, if we want sides, etc by Wed, but the sooner the better.

If we do this I need everyone who wants something to take a look at the menu and pick out some stuff we want, mainly to get an idea of #'s for each type of meat.

We can either order it in individual meal format or if enough people want enough of the same stuff they can make it into trays more economically. They can literally make whatever you want though, vegetarian, etc

I'm thinking bringing it to Van's would be the best idea, as this BBQ place is their house. They could also cater it there, but it would be easy enough to transport it and cheaper. If that is case, chances are it's gonna need to be prepaid. I'm not exactly sure if I would have enough to front it (aviation major 951 owning college student ) but I may be able to. I'll find out exactly how much it costs once I know who wants what.

To give you an idea of what they can do the BBQ menu is here. They can also cook for vegetarians, desert, etc

I'm down for anything, but for the sake of the list I'll say:

Ribs or Jerk Turkey

Fruit Salad

Mexicorn

I would be happy with ribs, corn, coleslaw. If its going to be done individual, a pulled pork sandwich is good.

I will bring soda / beer with me. I figure a case of coke, sprite, dr pepper and maybe a 24 rack (bud alright?)

Its about a 2hr drive for me, so the beer will be luke warm at best.. .

I have coolers and ice.

I suggest that we order a bunch of BBQ stuff all together... And Mike can pick it up on his way (Mike, pm me if you want me to pre-pay - then we'll tell everyone what their share is).

I like the suggestion of ribs, jerk chicken, fruit salad and "mexicorn" - whatever that is. So, Mike, can you call and find out what the cost would be for platters to feed 20 people (that's about my max figure)?

I know CRM wanted to bring his famous Japanese Coleslaw, and James is bringing chips and salsa. If we can get a few more people to bring appetizer type stuff, I think we'll be just fine.

Maybe Gina will get to make something after all!

"Mexicorn", ohh man we are going to have the DEA looking for us.

Ribs and chicken is good for me and whatever you guys want. By the way if it wasn't Carlos(Reno808), Van would probably would have me there today.
