Cant find exhaust leak - NO BOOST
Help: I can hear an exhaust leak somewhere on the passenger side near the rear of the engine. But I can't find the leak. The boost gauge wiggles at idle but nothing above idle. The car had fallen off jackstands when muffler was not attached and the cat was just hanging. I can't find any obvious damage but I'm not sure what to look for as far as turbo or waste gate. Any ideas?

Wastegate spring or membrane failure... pull the line off the WG, put a hand held pressure/vacum pump on it and verify it holds pressure... disconnect the line and run the car...
If membrane is toast the pump will show 0 all the time
If the spring is broken, the WG will open regardless as the engine idles
Then check the exhaust conections to the WG, if the WG has broken off the lip holding the pipe into the plate on the WG inlet it will not work...
Also look hard at the maifolds, look for carbon as evidence of cracked maifolds...
