Default First Impressions: Vitesse Sledgehammer head

Just letting you know that I recently installed a Vitesse Sledgehammer head to go along with my Vitesse Turbo and Headers. My car is a 2308lb 944 Turbo with Moton Double Adjustables, a Kolken rear suspension setup, 2.5 litre block, TEc 3 electromotive system etc.. It can typically match a 2004 Cup car at the track and I have posted a 1:27.88 last year as my best lap tiome at Mosport.

I had the car out last week and managed to do the same lap times at Mosport as I did the prior year with 4 psi less boost. The turbo spool up is noticeable quicker and if I get around to dynoing the car I will post dyno results. I am trying to get more life out of my car and if I can run less boost it will be easier on everything especially my wallet! I highly recommend the head as I have had nothing but good luck with Vitesse products and thought I would share my findings with you.

Good to here the effeciency of the head is up to the Vitesse reputation!!

On a side note, Pics of your monster would be nice, no scratch that it is required!!!!!

It has an attach files funtion (Manage attachments) that should allow you to add pics.

I have a complete Martini Rossi decal package on it now and will post the pics in a few days when I see my car again as it lives at the shop. It eats my credit card for breakfast, lunch and dinner...

My wife got it done for me and i think she paid less than $600. Here are a couple of pics before the car was put together.

The motor and everything was out of the car in that shot. so its a bad representation. Here is a pic of the front with the big custom intercooler
