Looking at that roof pic, the structure is definitely hurt. Not neccesarily an easy pull, these cars are hard to hold down properly on a frame machine. Off road excursions are the worst when it comes to damage analysis as there is usually much that is not seen at first. Not feeling good about this one...

Update, the alignment was out but was able to be set before tweaking the chassis back. That was good news. Bad news, state far wanted to total it for the cost of repairs using NADA. I had them do a real appraisal and they came back with a $15k value and will fix it now!
it is at a very good shop (thanks George D) and I will have it back in a few weeks!
Despite battling with the total loss department for a few months I'm very glad I had the option for a real appraisal as part of state farm's policy and I'm very glad my agent is a local PCA member who came to bat for me on the condition of the car. Let this serve as a lesson to those with geico, progressive or any of the bargain basement insurance companies, you get what you pay for and to get a lot better service and protection for your baby pay the extra few bucks.

That's great.
On a separate note, Progressive did a fantastic job for me. Though I run a 500 dollar deductible, with full coverage, they still paid almost 3k to take care of some damage that I had, from some crap falling off of a truck. They actually called me after and asked if I wanted to move to an agreed value policy, due to the rarity and condition of my car. I may do that.
My car, at the time was basically bone stock. They didn't even consider trying to total it. I was in, appraised, out and to the shop of my choice; in 48 hours.
The service was excellent.
Maybe I got lucky; but maybe not?

A couple years back I had an '86 that was in awesome condition that got totaled in a hit 'n' run w/ some illegals. I had State Farm and (a) they were awesome to deal with and were very receptive when I told them about certain things like the sport porsche script seats, uncracked dash, etc., (b) appraised my car at almost 2.5x what I originally paid for it, and (c) tacked on an additional $3k because it was in "exceptional condition."
Really great people to deal with, and I like to think that it was ultimately because of my experience with State Farm that Sean made the switch as well. The fact that his agent is a fellow PCA'er with a couple 911's helped a ton as well.
