I'm doing the oil pan right now and Clarks Garage recommends permatek Ultra Grey gasket sealant. Porsche recommends Dow RTV 730 ($99 per tube). I've also heard good stuff about 3m Weatherstipping adhesive 08034 but i can't find it anywhere.

NO sealer on the oil pan- ultra grey in the four corners- if you have a black/red gasket for the pick up tube use that. Ive actually used both since they are the same size- i believe the clear one is for the early cars?
