I'm sick of all these "Help! Car won't stop wheelspinning when on boost in 3rd gear" type posts. Bloody showoffs.

Yours jealously,
Mike

The Vflex is not yet installed. The dual port is only run as single port with the slow reacting manual boost controller. This is a base tune. I am 1500 miles from my car. Its done. And I can try it in a week....I am thinking this will be a long week.....

Or i fly home for a day....

I know you must be very excited to get your car back, it has been a long winter.
I look forward to hearing your feedback.

It was just at 10-11psi for the shop to test. Boost will go up soon but John has suggested to run the car somewhat easy at first. Also, the bottom end was rebuilt (the top end was rebuilt a few thousand miles ago) while the engine was out. The engine needs a little break in before hammering it.

Also, I need to install Vflex and the MAP sensor to take full advantage of everything. So full power will still be a little way off.

I probably do need bigger/stickier tires. I just dont think with the offset of my wheel I can fit much more than a 255 under the rear.

I know exactly how you feel. My car is at the cage builders right now, then goes back to the shop to button up the stage 2 install. I'm going full bore having the boost solenoid, MAP sensor etc installed. Plan is to run a 16psi street map, 18psi race fuel map and set 20psi as overboost protection...

My rear tires are 285's, we'll see how it hooks up.
