Default The wrong friggin seal?!?

So I'm finally ready to put my new seal in the front of the camshaft housing and it's got the wrong numbers. My original is:
DG 32 47 7RF01

and the new one is:
DG 30 47 7R02

From Clarks garage it looks like this is for a normal 944. Is there any difference between these? They look exactly the same. $50 and I'm stuck again....very frustrating.

Thanks for the help guys....

Stephen

Whats the difference? - 2mm.

The first number is the ID and the second is the OD (in mm).

It should be a 30 x 47 for pre mid 85 and 32 x 47 for mid 85 and later.

Hahaha....yeah, I figured it meant something like that, but side by side, I can't tell a difference. The 'smaller' one still fits on nicely....is it just going to burn it up?
