Default I have ruled out almost everything and still...

Ok, My 951 has had this problem for as long as I have owned it (2.5 years). On start up, it will idle fine but when you go to rev it, the rpm's will go down a little then go up. Is this normal? It is fine after a minute of driving. The reference sensors are new! Maybe idle air control valve?
thanks

Check the temp sensor on the head that goes to the DME. When the engine is cold, the mixture should be richer, the temp sensor input to the DME controls this. You just need to measure the resistance across the sensor with the engine hot, and again at room temp. The other temp sensor on the head goes to the dash gauge. With our old harnesses, it is best to measure the sensor resistance at the DME connector.

If the air control valve was the problem, I would think it would do this with the engine hot or cold.
