Over this summer Im going to be building a small shop in my basement for rebuilding my Turbo engine. Im looking for some suggestions/ideas as to what I should get for supplies. The previous owner of my house used the basement as a machine shop so the lighting is good and is exceptionally clean. I have most of the necessary tools to do the assembly work. Primarily Im looking for good cleaning products and brushes, waste oil containers, lube... etc. This isn't really Porsche specific items but 'good to have around' stuff for a engine rebuild. Im having the bottom 1/2 sent out to get freshen up and Ill assemble the rest when it returns.

My basement isn't finished. Its used for laundry, storage and random home projects work. I use simple green for a cleaning solution now and it works well with little to no odor. I would like to keep things quiet (no compressor), clean and odor free. Suggestions?
