944online has 'em. About $100 with decals.

I would expect to pay $10K for a car like that. If it was black and you were closer, I'd prolly trade off mine buy yours.

I hate to see the values so low.

I am stuck with my 951 now.

I just put a lot of money into re-doing all seals, hoses, wiring, bearings, clutch, vitesse turbo/maf/piggyback/vflex. Basically, I can't even sell the car for what all the maintenance costs were.

Its funny, but if I said, $15k for the car, people would laugh. But they will buy an $8k car to save money then have to dump $3-4k into a clutch (the clutch alone was about $2k in labor and over $1k in parts). Really, they couldn't come anywhere close to duplicating the car even if they bought a $5k car and tried to fix it up.

But the reality is, us 951 guys are bottom feeders. We want a lot of speed and not to pay anything for it. I was stupid spending what I have on the car. Others will be stupid like me in future and spend a lot to fix one up instead of paying a premium for one that is finished. That is just the reality right now.

Wow, still can't believe the lack of bids with only a couple hours left..... I know what you mean about putting the work/time/money into the cars. I bought mine 7 years ago for 8,500 and that was the going price then for a well maintained 944 turbo with records, etc. Then just doing normal maintence to the car and doing upgrades, all of which is over 20k plus the car and I can't even find someone to pay my close to what I paid for the car let alone all the upgrades I have done to the car. My car now would have been in the mid teens some 5-7 years ago.

If it is to any comfort at all i would gladly pay that kind of money for such a nice car here in norway. Afraid the price range here is a bit higher.

I hope this car goes to someone who keeps it as flawless as you have. Wish you didn't have to sell!

Keep it at 10k unless you ABSOLUTELY have to sell right away. Your car is every bit of a 10K car. Be patient. Someone is out there, they just haven't found it yet, or perhaps they are waiting for their tax refund. Give it another month.

I have had only a couple people e-mail me about the car and most of them are looking to come down to the 6-7 range. If I was just selling to make room, I would keep it at that price for awhile but I am looking to get a new car here this spring.

Post that the general 924/44/51/68 forum. I can't see how someone with an N/A looking to upgrade wouldn't jump on it for that price. My car is basically the same (wheels, no dash cracks, vitesse MAF and chips, 3" exhaust). I KNOW you can't buy any of the other 951s on ebay right now and replicate your car for that price. For starters, the only 951 on ebay with a lower buy it now is only $50 less and is missing most it's paint.

I'll say it again....DAMN! I wish this was here when I bought mine last year...I wanted this exact car....Now I've put a bunch into fixing up an $8500 grey one that has the LR 340 package on it...ugh...I love regretting things... Good luck, that car is definitely worth it...

I am actually looking to buy 944/951 and was watching your auction. Great car indeed, but unfortuantely I want "stock" car... Good luck with your sale anyway!

mx22, ha stock, that will last about a year at most.... It won't be long before you start upgrading it and pretty much doing everything I have already done to my car. Best of luck to you to finding a stock car out there. From the looks of it, the price is down and should be able to pick one up at a good price.

but not in great shape...
mx22 you're nuts if you don't buy this one. Infact, you're asking for trouble buying a stock 951 at this price point. It won't be close to this condition.
