Agree, but the cost is the same. Once installed, I'm not one to tinker unless it's broke. I'll let the manufacturer do this.

Looks like black trim is winning!

The clear looks more modern and the dark looks more period-correct. I think I'd go with the clear because the black has been done more often.

Black looks really nice, the clear shows the ugly dual light set up too much. Looks like a crossbred ferrari wannabe with the clear =X

I also think Black George. Just breaks it up a little and as David F says, it's like Mascara to define the eyes. I agree.

You putting the vents in the stock hood?

Have you been running a 4" into 3" reducer on the J Pipe to date? Do we see this as a real restriction based on the turbo outlet being less than 4"?

What turbo did you wind up getting and is there any new video forthcoming George??

Clear. Black looks fine, but I prefer the clear, on your particular car.

Very nice car, BTW.

Hi Patrick,

The hood vents are installed. I know that intake air outside of the engine bay is cooler, therefore knew that designing an intake outside of the engine bay would be better. I wanted it to be the same size of my intake, therefore the stock headlights had to go.

Send me a PM with your personal mail address, and I'll send you some picts of what we are doing. Might be boring, but I've got plenty.

We had Precision build a billett 62/62 turbo with a .58 hotside. My 3.2 M3 buds have these turbo's on their www.horsepowerfreaks.com cars. Loved their kits, and talked with their engineer's. They made a turbo for my motor based on what I wanted in this particular car.

Once all is done, I'll share with the list.

Thanks all for the votes...looks like I'm going with the black...

Crap, I respect your vote, and I've got to state that I like the eyeliner......I suppose I don't care, as long as I've got better lighting.....

Thanks for making this a bit more difficult...

Don’t know if we’re on the same page… if you use tint film or vinyl of any color, (black, red, what ever), you can make a trim border of any design on top of the lens cover then cover the entire thing with Laminex for impact protection. May be cheesy, but you could get creative too.
