Under-car clearance for clutch job?

I should add I used the floor jack to put the car up on blocks/stands, but I also used the tranny jack in David Floyd's link to help get the tranny out...

Are tranny jacks like these add-on attachment types worth getting?

Mark, my jackstand are 430mm high - and the resulting clearance was about right. If you go too high it can actually get too hard to lower the torque tube and exhaust down because your arms are fully extended. Not to mention it gets difficult to undo the earth straps in the engine bay.
