I am running an 87 924S Torque tube in my 88 Turbo S.

There are some differences in between early and late centering around the method they used for crash protection. The tabs that are designed to hit the torsion bar carrier changed over the years. Even so I believe any year will fit in any year chassis.

We just removed (Sysgen actually did the job) an S2 torque tube and there is a 10-14 inches slot on the engine side of it covered with some cheesy material. Said to reduce vibrations. But all other specs are the same.
