Yeah those Fuch's are gorgeous.... Where can you find those?? Is there anyone making replicas or do you have to try and track down a used set?

They do make replica 16x8 and 16x9 Fuchs. They are cast rather than forged. You should be able to buy a new set for around $800.

Factory forged 16x9 fuchs are not cheap when they come up.
Usually $1200 to $1500 for the pair. Less if they need work.

agree with the dating, but for some, they want the "period" element - just like replacing the radio. however, the fuchs are well sought after from what I have read...inclining me to keep mine and refinish them at some point.

If i had a pair i would sell them. Nothing like getting top dollar at the supposed height of the market. also 16" tires are getting harder to find

it's hit or miss based on what you want.
16" tires in stock setup are easy to find. Tire Rack has a plethora of them.
let's say I sell them and get 1200 to 1500 as people say...
To get Early Offset rims and new tires will cost me as much...why change?

It is a 24 year old car; it is already dated. One more year and us early guys will be for some historical plates.

I personally love the Fuchs. So much so, I when I replace my 951 I will either get an earlier 911 or 912.

i disagree although it maybe a 24 year old car it looks like it could have been rolled off the show room floor in the early 2000's thats one of the reasons its popular the design for lack of a better word is ageless.

Why would you sell your fuch rims for 1500 dollars ? Buy a good used set of rims for 1k and buy a 500 set of tires and viola you have new tires LOL just showing ya....

Hell i bought a set of Cup 1 rims for 400 shipped.

Now, I disagree with that it could have rolled off the factory floor in the 2000's. There are too many older elements like the pop-up headlights and taillights. Likewise, rear-bumper reminds me heavily of the mid-1970s through 1980s and the large bumpers that were hung on all of the Euro cars along with cats which cut engine power (hooray for the 951 having a one-world engine).

However, I do agree that the 951 has a timeless design. Actually, most Porsche cars do for that matter. It should be noted that I am heavily into vintage and period correct looks.

There's not a more period correct, proper wheel for the early offset 951.
