Default Took the silver rose to the dyno - any guesses?

Took my 88 944 Turbo S Silver Rose with 154k on it to the dyno (Dynojet) this evening over in Marietta, GA. Factory numbers are 247 hp and 258 tq at the crank. I did one run with the stock chips and stock banjo bolt and one run with the Autothority chips and modded banjo bolt that have been in the car for the last 15 years. Did not get a boost number or A/F - just peak hp and tq.

I'll post up the charts tomorrow but in the meantime anyone care to sharpen up their HP guessing skills and throw out some numbers? The car is completely stock - exhaust, wastegate, injectors, fpr etc and on 93 octane. Ambient temp was probably 40F.

I bet 240 HP with the stock chips and 255 with the Autothority chips.

Well - what is stock boost on a Turbo S? I think on the non S stock boost was 10.8 PSI? I would love for someone to chime in on what the boost is upped to with the banjo bolt and the Autothority chips. Maybe one bar or a little less?

Ok - Looks like stock boost on a turbo S is the same as on a non S turbo - 0.75 bar or about 10.877 PSI. I found some literature on the Autothority chips and they say that their banjo bolt is set to 0.95 bar or about 13.78 PSI.

I would be surprised if there was much difference between the chip sets.
The banjo bolt is notoriously inconsistent...hard to even guess what boost you are running. Years ago I had one banjo bolt car that was hitting 20psi in the midrange…
So…247.8 rwhp add 4hp for the autothorty chips
