Now if they offered 2 versions of the software one for the 2.5bar and one for the 3bar, that I do not know.

My car came with the APE stage 2 chips, installed in 1996. It had a 2.5bar FPR and I had to upgrade to 3bar when I installed my Vitesse chips.

Some pretty good guesses out there! Especially ritzblitz on the stock numbers! Couple of folks got really close to the Autothority chip HP number.
Results - stock: 221.7 hp / 230.0 tq
chipped: 258.9 hp / 267.6 tq
Personally I am pretty impressed with a 37rwhp gain from a set of chips and banjo bolt. I wonder what 55lb injectors, 3 bar FPR, tial wastegate, mbc set to 17lb and correctly mapped chips would do on a turbo S?

This is an interesting thread. Sort of curious what you get Modded. My engine is finally going to get finished up this weekend before goes back in. Very similar to your set up but fresh engine with John’s MAF and piggyback, bigger turbo (To4e / #44 trim) and Tial 38mm. Using manual boost controller but won’t exceed 15 psi (I did read that part John and I believe you). Hope to have running and broken in ready for a trip to the local dyno in Grapevine TX by May-June.

Van...SWAG = Silly Wild *** Guess.
Actually, I was guessing that he was running 15 psi. At 14 psi, I would have guessed 261. Impressive numbers for a car with that many miles. These are great cars.
Josh, thanks for sharing.

I should say that I haven’t looked at the autothority stuff for 10 years…back then they had a different product for the turbo and turbo S. The stage 1 stuff was just chips – didn’t really do much. The stage 2 stuff had the banjo bolt restrictor and the turbo S version had a 3.0 FPR. But that was then…this is now!

I was 7hp off!
I'm supposed to have this :
from powerhaus (website)
Average horsepower gains over Stock
(‘86 944T tested on Dynojet model 248E chassis dynamometer):
PH K-27-DR Turbo (sold exchange)
PH Mass Flow Sensor & Chips (Stage 2)
Bosch 3.0 bar Fuel Pressure Regulator (required w/ K-27)
265 WHP on a non-S 1986 model. The car does feel like 265 WHP.
