Anyone got one in their car? Whaddya think?

I have this wheel. You can see all guages. Great wheel.

I forget the brand name. They are a smaller brand "race" seat.

They are "sorta" comfortable and hold you VERY well. I'm torn between keeping them and looking for something more comfy.

These shots are from before I fixed up the rest of the interior.

You can get *almost* the exact same wheel, with different leather pieces and stitching, called a 930S wheel. Pelican sells it.

The link is from the 911 parts section, so you may have to check to see if they have the 944 adapter (early or late depending on your car).

I have one I bought a long time ago from AJ USA and I love it. Really changed the interior of the car. Unfortunately AJ USA doesn't sell them anymore.

On second thought I'm going for the RS wheel instead =] Thanks though.

You can get the club sport wheel from Sunset.
Last I bought was $355 or so shipped with hub.

Personally, I like to see the instruments clearly through the wheel and the factory non-airbag wheel is just large enough for this.

Interestingly, it's also the same wheel they put in the 959. Would you put an aftermarket wheel in a 959?

I prefer the Momo Tuner. Not a big fan of perforated steering wheels (I have an older Momo with perf leather now and it always looks a bit grubby with those holes)

Did you put the crest on your wheel, Tifo?

I had this wheel for years on my 930 and loved it. I needed to fabricate the hub adapter to space the wheel to orginal distance with quick release. Dash gauges were rotated for easer view.

My only suggestion is see if you can try something of a similar size before you fork out your money. I tried a thinner type Momo and while it looked great and I liked the feel initially, I went for a drive and after not a long time found that my fingers sort of ached a bit. So it wasn't for me. Just saying....

The finish is somewhat of a cross between matte and satin. It looks great in the 944 interior, like it belongs there.

I put the crest on mine. The next time I take the cover off of the car in the garage I can snap a photo if you would like.

The CS wheel is a high quality leather and feels very nice.

I like it better without the extra crest, I already know it's Porsche .
