Default Momo "Competition" steering wheel -- anyone got one?

I was thinking of getting one of these. I'm looking for something with a thicker grip than the stock S2 wheel. These look like a clean design that might go well with the interior.

Anyone got one in their car? Whaddya think?

I've got something similar, and then I tried a thinner gripped version (new and smarter looking) but went back to my old favourite. Prefer the thicker grip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1e4Rj7joYjg

I have one in mine. I think it boils down to personal preference and how it fits your hand.

Nice wheel, but I'd double check how much of the speedo and tach gauges you won't see with it on.

I've got it sitting inside waiting for spring install...Like the way it feels, although it is all personal preference...

I think when I bought my car, the momo wheel that came on it was an older model of the competition. It wasnt a bad wheel at all. But with long legs I wanted something else and got a momo flot bottom suede wheel that I love

I have one on my daily driver, nice and firm feel though it's a little small for the manual rack. I am 6ft and this is what I can see from eye level:

Interesting 'reclocking' of the gauges (changing the angle). Did you do that yourself?

I like the club sport wheel. Nice and thick and looks good with our car's interior....

I got these a while back from Heiz in Germany. They make some nice custom stuff, very good quality, but in retrospect I think these were a bit ricey for my liking.

They do some other 944/968 designs here and I have this one in one of the 951's:

I have one on my car, looks great with the interior, doesn't feel out of place. Plus the grip is much better than the oem wheel.

Not sure exactly which one mine is. I bough it used to get rid of the wood Momo that was in it.

It did have that extra ring around it I just did not use it. (more weight ya know).
