Default 5" Exhaust

We just received in our first shipment of 5" exhaust systems. In the next 24 hours, the web page will be completed so you can check them out and order if you want one. Some of you had been asking about their availability, and they are now in stock.

On a 4" system, we have measured the internal pressure after the turbo and there is pressure there.
Going larger will lower that pressure, and make more power. How much, that's yet to
be seen, but there will be a gain.

Sorry, but that is absolutely unnecessary. If there is even +5hp difference from the 4" to the 5" I will be amazed. Did you ever do testing to see what the difference from the 3" to the 4" was?

It will defenatly have to be used on a car that is maxed out with machine work to the head. Or your enthusiast that overdoes it when it comes to buying stuff that his car cant utilize (fully)

It may not do much for the 2.5L guy not making over 350-400 RWHP over a 4". Time will tell.
Those runing larger engines, which now can be 3.1 and 3.2(ish)L versions, with 16v heads
and running higher RPM, there will be much to be gained. All those in between will fall somewhere
in the middle.

There are those people (quite a large percentage) that buy exhaust because of the sound. For those,
this will be the one to have in you don't want to sound like everybody else. And they will gain some performance while at it.

That's pretty funny. It's not going to be 5 inch behind the turbo so where exactly does it turn to 5 inch? Most likely after the WG tie in too. Just because there is pressure in the turbo exit doesn't mean there will be gain from going larger....also, the pressure your measuring is still in a smaller pipe because none of your systems are 4 inch behind the turbo. They flare later...
