Default Kokeln 61cm Turbo..

I have the opportunity to buy a 61cm Kokeln Bolt On Turbo for my '86 944T. Anyone knows how much power one of these can put out? I understand I'll need supporting mods but I may splurge and buy it if it can reach my goal of close to 400whp.

I'm pretty sure its this guy right here-

Thanks in advance!!

If your 61mm measurement is the compressor inducer, then that turbo is capable of 400rwhp (assuming an appropriately matched turbine side).

Injectors seem a little small for 400 whp, but that's just me.
I think it's doable but the injectors will be working rather hard to accomplish it.

Back of the envelope. Assume 12.0:1 A/F. Assume about 1#/min air for every 10 horsepower. So that means 3.33#/min of fuel, or 200 #/hr. That would only take about 50# injectors, though working at 100% duty cycle. 55 seems adequate.

BTW, to the OP, I assume you mean 61Mm, not cm. A 61mm inducer seems huge to me, I'd be worried about spool time on an 8.0:1 2.5L engine.

i was also aware of this and was wondering how bad the spool times would be.

Was this from the guy always selling parts on Ebay? I've always wanted to go see his place and kick around. I'm sure I could find a lot of things to spend some spare $$ on.

Where in CT are you?
