I bought my 951 in FL and it has the LR 340 kit on it. Well, I got a cat back on it and got my AFR all dialed in and went to smog it for registration. The two places I went to wouldn't even test it due to 'tampering'... referring to the MAF system. They said I need to go to a smog referee to get a sticker!

Does anybody have any ideas of what I should do? This sucks.

where are you at? The shop I took mine to in Orange County opened the hood, looked at me...smile and went about business. I have a stage 2 MAF, catch can and turbo oil filter. Definetly not a stock look.

Cool...I'll do that....they were saying I needed a CARB sticker for the MAF or a BAR sticker from a smog referee inspection. They probably got all strict since they don't know me...thought it was a sting or something... I've got a guy I used to use...just a little drive time...

You're lucky they didn't test it and fail you as a gross polluter! Telling you go for a CARB sticker is just a mean-spirited joke at best! Some people are known to dress up their cars with stock parts just for the test, so that they don't fail the "visual"...

Yep you caught a break. The Maf kits don't have Carb sticker, you either have to find a shop with "car guys"
pull the maf and put the AFM back on or see if you can retofit the Stealth Maf kit. If you are running a pick back you need to keep that out of sight or they will fail you for that to.

You don't want to go to a bar station, they will go over the car with a fine tooth comb.
