Has anyone found the VDO part # for the oil level sensor connector? PET lists a part # for the diagnostic port and the rectangular block connectors, but I am not sure if you can actually order them though. The block connectors are very easy to remove, so if the wires in a new harness already had connectors crimped on it would be easy to swap the connector housing from the old to the new.

Anything under a grand and I would have bought two.

That’s not that far out of the question. The standalone harnesses that I make up contain all the engine management wires and all the wires for the gauges and sensors. I could make up a stock replacement harness if it was really wanted, but the price would not be much under $1k. I have all the connectors since I make the standalone harnesses up as a plug and play set up (almost no wiring terminations by the customer).

If anybody really needs one let me know – its not my favorite work to do but if it will help somebody out I can make some. chris@944enhancement.com

Oh yeah – if I make some up I can add extra wires for ‘optional’ stuff too as well as including vac lines for gauges/boost controllers or whatever else you might want. In fact we could always use the same harness for a standalone installation at a later date.

Chris, I'm in the middle of buying a house, but when I finally get that done I'm very interested in a new harness.
