Default Profec B Spec II solenoid in the Vegas area??

Anyone have a "spare" I could troubleshoot mine with? I'll be in town for a few days.

I have a recurring boost limiting problem that I think is the solenoid valve. Boost limiting holds the boost at about 17psi and my dash boost gauge concurs. I haven't found any vacuum/press leaks in the system.

The only thing good about the current condition is that the gas mileage has nearly doubled..

mind if i ask, just how high do you want your boost to be? 17psi not enough?

It's not just.....

(rethinking--)

You might be on to something Spence, it's not the total amount of boost but the speed of application; GAIN. RPM's over 3k are useless now when they used to plant you in the seat and zoom to the rev limiter, then I didn't see limiting until above 6k

I thought I had my old ZT2 logs on this new notebook to check but I don't. I just might have to go get a new map!
