Default Car cuts out sometimes on boost...

Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. When accelerating, it usually happens in second or third between 3 and 4K rpm. Also happens in 4th and 5th. Runs fine when it's just getting warm or hasn't been driven in a few days, but it has been running out of breath or bucking, cutting out, whatever you wanna call it. I have my Accuboost set at 14 psi in second and third, vacuum is at a steady 17-18 hgs when warm. Any ideas?

When mine did this it was the coil. Ran fine off boost and low boost but as the boost and/or RPM progressed, the car stuttered. Sort of like hitting the rev limiter. Was a failing coil.

Could be the overboost protection also. You have a second boost gauge and stock klr(chip)and cv ? If its not that i would check the above and the DISTRIBUTOR ROTOR as i had problems with that on my old na .

Boost cut, knock protection.

Put some nice premium gas in there or try turning the boost down a turn

I pulled the main wire on the coil, took the boot off and found white chalky stuff inside the insulator around the metal...
