Yee Hah - Car is running again!
Well after a really long weekend my 951 is finally running again. It only happened with the help of Albert and Brad and a buddy from work Warren.
We pulled the transmission and slid back the torque tube. Pulled out fromt he top my old short block that had low compression and horrible leak down numbers. Then we slipped in the new to me 88 short block and re-installed the transmission. Bolted everything back onto the top and started her up! Had some oil pressure issues at first but then I realized I hadn't threaded the OPRV all the way in.
I still have some bugs to work out - exhaust leak where the manifolds mate to the head and an oil leak somewhere in that area too.
I am impressed though as I was able to drive the car about a mile back home from the shop and everything seemed to be running ok with the big valve head, Web-cam and new Lindsey turbo. Can't wait to get this car up to speed

Didn't have time to crack it open but I will. I'll report back to the board if I can figure out what the problem was - pretty strange for sure!
No worries - glad it sounds like you are working towards getting the sunroof delete back on the road!
