Good luck with that 997tt, Cory. Its ain't stock, its a true monster with a lot more power than that 997tt RUF John was talking about. You won't be catching it until Vitesse comes out with its version of the Mr Fusion machine.
No disrespect to John, of course, his stuff rocks!
Regards,

And the truth comes out. I was merely teasing lol. I had heard that he made some changes to that car. Have yet to see or hear exactly what changed. Is it truly that big of a monster?

Could this also be some video of the car in question?

In a word, yes. I have driven it, it goes WAY beyond "unbelieveable". I can't imagine anything that could be done to a 951 that would allow it to run with that particular car. Even with the same pwer to weight ratio, that car has unreal suspension and technology adantages.

Hi Scott, some of the 996TT and 997TT are making insane power numbers and do cost insane $ to get there. The 6-cyl TT platform responds well to modifications. No matter how fast of a car someone has, there is someone out there that has a faster version it doesn't matter if it's a 951 or a 997TT.
It's always nice to see a 951 keeping up even with a stock 996TT or 997TT. Technology has changed, but the 20+ year old 4-cyl is still a good platform.

I'll be banned as a heretic for even suggesting such a thing, but 300-325 rwhp is a very good goal for a 951. Its useable power, the car is very fast, its pretty reliable mechanically, and you can put enough brakes and tires on the car to keep it under control. Beyond the 350 mark, I think the dynamic ability of the chassis starts to get pretty dicey and driver skill becomes a LOT bigger factor in putting the power to use.

Hey sh944 but when equipped with a KW variant 3 suspension over 350 is easily handled that is if you FINALLY get you suspension in adjustment .
