"No, Hosrom hails from Egypt. They were driving chariots when people in North America hadn't discovered the horse, let alone the wheel!"

...and they STILL ARE!

"Location" does not mean country of origin now does it?

Back on topic. Hosrom, I'm curious how much the cat actually reduces power output, since estimates seem to vary.
Si mi amigo, y mi madre es de Sicilia y mi padre es de Egipto, tengo dos pasportes tambien!!!

Anyways, im looking for that thread regarding back and forth dyno with and without the CAT.

Did this start as a discussion of exhaust systems?

+1

Ford MAF, injectors, chip, 18-20psi, exhaust or at least cat delete=

320-350whp

With an old hunltey 3" MAF/ARC2 and chip and not a real fine tune on 18psi I did 320whp.

I personally went with the Lighting MAF 90mm so never have to get another one. Onm y set up I see 4.2-4.3v. I was clipping the old Huntley MAF.

Check that.

APE doesn't burn a chip base on exhaust size....FYI

Seriously,
The amount that one gains is based largely on the CAT. If it's the original 20+ year old CAT, and you remove it, you will see a significantly larger difference than you might see in a brand new modern hi-flowing CAT.
A really good, larger exhaust, combined with a brand new CAT will make a pretty nice difference, compared to the stock 20 year old exhaust system.

Hos,

I hope ya know I was kidding...although I do have a large stockpile of jokes about Sicilian women who marry Egyptian men, with or without dual parrports!

Too the best of my knowledge, no one burns chips to match exhausts. How and why would one do so?
