I have tried to remain positive in all this. We wanted to celebrate his life yesterday, not get all maudlin and gloomy. Many funny stories were told as we relived some of them at the wake.
I shall indeed miss him and count myself very lucky to have such a good bloke as my Dad.
Good for you. I learned some things about my own father at his wake.
89 is a ripe old age though!!
