Default DME limp mode?

Hi guys. does anyone knows if 951S have limp mode or something close to that?
My car starts to have throttle response issue when boost goes over 15 psi. could it be on the chips? or KLR?

What happens is as soon as it goes past 15psi, it buckles. it feels like if the TPS had a dead spot in it.like from 1/3 to 2/3 no response past 2/3 continues to accelerate.??? It will do this til I turn ign sw to off then ON again, the it will run find up to 14.5 psi. lots of power there. I don't get it? I though it was the TPS, and i replace it with new one but no lock. could it be on the chips? I have a Weltmeister chip on it. any Ideas?

yes, similar to that, could it be over boost protection? how can I get rid of it?

On my car, it was "overload" protection - which means the signal from the TPS didn't jive with the signal from the AMF. This caused the computer to be confused because it didn't know how much air was going in at full throttle. At 3/4 throttle, I had no problems.

Anyhow, in my case it turned out to be both the AFM and TPS need to be replaced.

No, my car is stock. I didn't try to run it with the TPS off.

I assume you're getting no blink codes from the KLR? I wasn't (but unplugging the TPS would give me a blink code.)

How are you controlling your boost? You say "when the boost goes over 15 PSI". I don't think it should be going over that with just chips, unless you have a dead cycling valve.

I have a manual boost controller. I though the cycling valve wouldn't produce a code if bypass. Can someone confirm this?
