Was looking at turbo's again
I am currently running a GT35R 1.06A/R and happened to go to garretts site and noticed that there is a GT37R/GT40R now.
My question to all is I was thinking of going to the 37R and dropping my A/R to .99. Would I just be recreating what I have or will I be able to hit with more punch and spool a little sooner?
This just the begining of me looking into it. It started from bordum at work, I haven't even started comparing compressor maps yet...
Currently GT35R A/R1.06
Thinking of
1. GT37RA/R.99
2. GT40RA/R.88
Last but not least would those trim be restricting me at over 30 +PSI of boost( just used for dyno playing usually stay around 15-19psi otherwise).
Would love to hear your opinions!!!

You'd be putting that turbo on for bragging rights only.. Put a smaller t-3 .82 A/R on it. (GT35) Tial.. you'll love it and it will cost you less. If you're running 16psi, you're only going to gain spool with none or almost no top end loss.
I would wait for the new Garret GTX series to come out before I changed turbos.. wait to see sort of thing.

I think that many of us would like to one day have a GT35r on out cars i have 2 gt35s here but i was waiting till i have a 3.0 to put it on and just using a k27 for the 2.5...So if i was lucky enough to have a Gt35 on a car and it was working ok there is a big list of things i would do befor going to a biger turbo , engine work super fuel system 4 coil cdi 4" exhuast big brakes heaps of suspension roll cage .
No doubt by the header pannel you car is no stoker just i would want to have a very highly developed car to see a gt35 as enadiquite

95one, The GTX-R series when will that be out? I am not trying to drop my boost build zone I would like to leave that if I can close to where it is but I would like it to have a little more punch on boost. I will look at the maps tonight and make the decision if that will be the case or I will be just recreating what I already have. The reason for the drop in A/R is soley for the growth in turbo, I am fine with the GT35R in that sense.

Costas, forgive me for my forgetfulness but is your motor a 2.5L or bigger? I know Duke was/is running a GT35 on a 2.5L and I ran the Vitesse stage 5 on a 2.5L but I had the S2 crown wheel and pinion to offset the final drive ratio.
