Default WTT - speedline wheels for lightweight track wheels

looking for some 17/18" light wheels to run on the track- decent widths for late offset. THese wheels are 18x9/10" and are 50mm offset. Refinished last winter by me. I like the carrera five spoke wheels or aftermarket..

I want these wheels but dont have the money...I have HRE 540's...one rear wheel was sent back to HRE because there was a crack in the inner barrel...the other three need to be refinished...but no leaks...they are 18's

refinishing is not a problem- just need something lighter for the track....

They are 18x8.5, 18x9.5 or 10...not sure of the offsets but they sit nicely on my car...i can get some pictures of them next time i'm at my friend's shop where i keep the car if you are interested. I'm not sure how old they are though. They were on the car when I bought it in Nov. of 2007

Is weight the only issue with keeping the Speedlines? How heavy are they?

Wonder if Ben would be up for a trade... I think he has the OEM 5 spoke lightweights.

Dan,

Maybe you might be able to sell them out right and get what you want? I would post a price just in case.

Just to share a bit of info here,

OEM speedline split rims starting with part number 965.stamped on the back are not that heavy, same weight as the 5 spoke Carrera 2002 OEM size to size , they are just delicate on the inner rim , and they bent easily.

I have a set of 5 which came of a 964 road car and all had some sort of bent on the inside rim.
had them refurbished ,went over a speed bump ,without markings and all 4 went back to square one.
They looked good though from the outside.
There are also out there same wheels from the 965 and 968 Turbo , forged ones with the same oem part number plus an R at the end
,which are much stronger and also rare.
.
