No affiliation, though I have met Carl in person a few times (he's right up the road from me) and he also happens to work for a pretty well reputed Porsche specialist:

I've been keeping track of Pearl White sightings here: https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...-for-sale.html -- what's the last 4 digits of the VIN?

Guys, I had one of the original 86 pearl/burgundy 951's. I last saw the car in the Chicago area about 4 years ago. This may be Carl's car.
When new, the car had nice pearl paint, quite a bit off white, with exactly matching pearl white phone dial wheels. Also, the burgundy interior had white piping on the front seats. The doors did NOT have rail/dent guards, giving it a clean look. As far as I know, the car was bone stock and this is the original configuration of the pearl cars...
Someone had used white paint to fill in the PORSCHE recessions on the door handles and rear spoiler.
On my car, I added component speakers in the front a/c vents and an Alpine head unit. Other than that, the car was original.

Old thread!
Carls car had the pearl Fuchs and white piping on the seats. It was in "ok" shape, a driver more than anything. Mechanically it was sound with all the maintenance done properly. It wasn't stock but wasn't heavily modified either. IIRC it had a 26/8 and chips. The last time I saw it on CL it was offered under $6k which IMO might've been worth it.

I don't post on Quattroworld, so that's probably not me, but my CQ is pearl white with WA plates. Only Audi forum I'm really on is motorgeek.
