Default need labor times

ive been searching the net aimlessly for a labor guide of how many hours to do work on a porsche 944 turbo. im looking for home many hours porsche says it takes to put in a new turbo.

I think it is in the 8-12 hour range.

Send a PM to Doc Whilen, Dave McGrath or Chris White they would know to the minute. Although there are alot of "intangibles" involved...stuck bolts, bolt on replacement?, fab work if not, downpipe install, etc....

Getting ready to do one myself.

2.5 to 3 hours, although I have been able to removed non-stock turbos under an hour with the LR SFR x-over system.

PM sent, but for reference Chilton/mitchell lists it at 12.6 hours. I'll have to find my Porsche labor book to see what the dealer lists as book, it is usually a few hours more.

12.6h for the turbo you got to be kidding me doc? most shops charge $ 95 p/h.
