Default what about coming right here to vent ?

Has Porsche done something to **** you off lately ? Is there a part that you think they could have developed better, or offered more support in the ever-after, years after production of your transaxle 944/968 ended ??

ex: make something that actually pumps something instead of leaking it ?

If Chrysler can do it Porsche can right ??

What about venting about something that your car did to you recently, like maybe an hour ago that is really pissing you off...

Maybe someone here can help without opening a new thread...

I put this up here because there is more than one thread on Rennlist just about motor mounts... Maybe the less-knowlegable, or newbies can come here and just ask and get super fast answers without posting new threads that have already been done so many times before...

Um, I dislike how my drive side cv axle popped out and bent the shrouding. Also, uh, I don't like how my brights always come on and I have to jam a piece of rolled up paper in there to turn them off without having to hold the switch.

You 2 buddy!

I like 15PSI... it is so much better than 12... And I like running it without bathing my exhaust in oil...

I like my P-Cars so much more than my Audi or my Dodge... but they are dead even with the boat... I do like my boat....

I really like RL... and everyone on here... except you, and you know who you are... you.... you... yeah you...

If you have a "no start" problem SEARCH first.

+1 for the following as well..
a. "What oil to use in the transaxle?"
b. "What oil is the best for our engines?"
c. "Can I turbo my N/A?"
d. "What is a rickroll?"
e. "What offset wheels will fit my car?"

The cheaper ones (8'x12') start @ $2250-$2800 (on wind runs) for a day PLUS the actual hours usauge periods which vary from facility to facility (I have yet to see one under $7,000), around $750 set up fee and $400-$1500 report prep fees. Each additional hour over the designated 8 (5.5 actual usage hours) is an additonal $425 per hour plus a minimum $100 OT adder. This is usually one that is found at a University or Aerodynamics school AND they have students involved so it is not typically your most streamlined/state of the art operation.

The more expensive units, like the NASA-Langley tunnels here in Hampton Virginia that several NASCAR teams used/use are a minimum of $33,000 as you are billed in blocks not actual usage. IIRC the blocks are kind of set up weird...24/36/44/66/92/114 hour block increments. The $30k does not include ANYTHING other than the facilities rental. Operators, set-up, break-down, analysis, reporting, etc....are ALL additional costs (READ: $$$$$$). The lessee can provide their own staff/operators but they have to have acceptable certification.

Hope this helps...

Which is exactly why very few after market aerodynamic pieces have any real wind tunnel testing done with them
