I recently bought a whole cow skin to do my 911 door panels in. Great leather on Ebay. Only cost about $60 including shipping. I used an alcantara cloth for door caps, too. Looks great so far, almost done. I figure, why use vinyl when you could use leather?

Is there actually any weight savings gotten from the RS-style door panels, or such for the looks?

I already got away the front speakers inside door panels. I guess the internal door handles would weight some... maybe 2-3lbs weight removal with rs-style?

2-3lbs would be somewhere in the area. I dont know how much the rs style panel would weigh.
