Nine 11 this is the type of talk of the 911 snobbery, I know this thread was started by Sebastian to Bash 911, most of us have said good things about them. Here is my question, have you driven a 951, if no than you are being as narow minded as everyone bashing 911.

I'll be the first to call BS on that one. A 120hp 2002 that weights 2400lbs with inline 4 torque vs a 170hp 2700hp car with flat 6 torque? But then again, anything on the internet must be true right?
I like the 951, there's no need to feel like the red headed step child and bring down the favorite just to make yourselves look good.

I have some tests between the 2, and they were basically =, except for practicality and fit/finish...BMW much better...
the 911, iirc weighed 2700 and had 160 HP...and cost twice as much
so, you think this is about 'self worth'? really?

Dude, anything is better than a vw, just because you have a badge that says Porsche who cares, still slow, spin out of control in tight turns and a AUDI 951 1/4 the cost of your precious Porsche leaves you in the dust. Porsche stopped making the 951's because it was faster, more refined than the 911Vw and cheaper, that wasn't financially convenient for the company. The 911 is not only slow but is freaking FUGLY. Well it's a bug after all. See the the many videos, i got the magazine articles, I can post them again but....you wouldn't understand.

Ok your RS4 is faster than all the cars mentioned. Of course the RS4's tech is 20 years later and pretty much all modern performance cars are in the 5s now and so you've proven it... the 911 3.2 is slow, so is your 951 and 993s and a whole slew of other P-Cars. For a second there I thought you might even be offering a relatively unbiased view but I see now you have a certain disdain for the goold ole 911.
Doesn't really matter anyway... You're the fastest so I guess you win. Reminds me of every one and their brother stomping it at the stoplights to prove they're 4 door saloon could take my Carrera, I simply ignored every one of them. If I wanted the fastest car my money could buy, it wouldn't be a 911 OR a 951.

but not why I bought it: great deal, AWD, amazing engine, 4 door, quality interior, fit/finish 10/10...fast is just an extra...
no 'disdain' for the 911, just an objective, unbrainwashed view...
the engineering and fundemental design is a compromise
NO one builds a rear engined car, for good reason...it'sd a bad concept!
even Porsche's new model designs are front/mid
