Anyone tried replacing the oil cooler lines with AN Fittings?

i know that this is an old post but I had a question about the Setrab adapters. Do I install direct to the oil cooler housing or should I put an aluminum o-ring inbetween? I'm concerned about it leaking. Should I use a little loctite 574 here?
