I have a receipt from PO for 2 new reference sensors, installed 4 years ago. And I have installed a new lindsey reference sensor harness, 3 months ago. Everything was working great, until past few weeks I get a few random no-starts. Each time, cranks and cranks with no tach bounce until I open the hood, maybe touch the (new) connectors, then starts fine. Are the sensors already cooked? Is the lindsey harness a POS? What gives here? Can I just bypass this crap and be done with it?

Looked inside the connectors? Perhaps the contacts got dirty or wet?

haven't pulled them yet.. maybe I'll shove some dialectric grease in there and see if that helps.

I hear ya same problem here, lindsey harness + new ref sensors. I just actually just smeared thermal heat sink paste on the pins of the ref sensors (greese that has silver in it). No miss-starts in a week!

I hear you too. I've replaced both sensors and have been procrastinating with the harness even though I've already got the kit only to hear this sort of stuff.

Gawd that would be great if this were a permanent fix!
