Intercooler selection

My only concern, is I do not wish to have a huge aluminum item showing visibly through the front bumper. Totally throws off the looks of a 951 IMO. Tim, would it be bad if one painted their intercooler? I'd possibly be in for one, if I could intact paint it black so it isn't very visible.

I have the same one as anders but mine is mounted further back and higher behind that body work were he has the nuts and bolts sitting
I think its a about 600 wide overall slightly wider then standard so i had to crop a but were the pipes go through (its in the pic with the other cooler here)
I also cropped the rear of that cross brace in a similar way that anders has done his bumper it is covered by the old IC in the pic
and i remeber doing the numbers and finding it had a much bigger cross secional area than the SFR unit ..
I still think the Lighndsey stage 2 is a good unit so good i ripped off the idea and had one welded up locally ..
