As far as I know it was crank signal sync loss yes. I dont think it was hydrolock, but who knows. Bores look fine, but im dropping the engine off tomorrow afternoon for a jet wash and quick hone. Im going to get the shop to hone it then mic the cylinders out so Chris can order a new set of pistons for it... The bent rod actually deformed the piston slightly, enough that the pin wouldnt come out easily.... So its time for a whole new set.... So I win twice

On the upside, im waiting for an email back from a local shop ive found that has an engine dyno, im going to see about getting the engine run in and tuned on the engine dyno.
