the 944 S2 doner car is a LHD japan import. its a bit of a shame to strip the car because its in great condition but we cannot get it registered here being LHD.
Sean,
any chance that car (since it is '91) had divided backseat? I need desperately backseat halves center attachment hardware to body. I got back seat from Markus' orange 951 but these parts were missing.

Also intake look nice

im not too sure, but i do know it will be enough. at the moment i run a stock 2.5ltr with a vitesse stage 3 turbo setup, i have traction problems in the lower gears on the track, with 9s and 10s on Rspec. The best thing about it will be the tractibility the extra 500cc gives us.

Hi Adam,
the computer will remain a vitesse setup, so will the turbo. at the moment its a stage 3 turbo but i may have to upgrade to a stage 5.

Just look for a junk 968 for the black plastic attach pieces. I got one from 20th St. Auto here in Phoenix, AZ. They most likely will have another one.

yeah thats right Adam, the stage 5 from Patricks would be a good match turbo for it. guys in australia just charge way to much to make manifolds, let alone do it properly. its just too cheap from SFR.

realy?? perhaps you look rich sean when i asked around it was not to bad seemed it was an 800 dollar job if you handed over aN S2 manifold ...and if you cut and prep it would be cheaper again...
so i say blah blah cheap cheap then some BANDIT vanishes with mine .....
so can i have the old S2 one to cut up please mate ???
You can have cash or the pick of the parts pile ....

the wossner 16v 8.0:1 turbo pistons arrived this week. lucky for us the S2 engine had perfect bores so we could order the pistons to suit with the alusil coating. i also started to polish the cam cover

hopefully soon i will get a little free time and get to work on assembling the engine

thats right adam, im hoping the cam cover will produce 96% of my power. not that i need more as i had to get towed back to work tonight, smashed a Cv joint to pieces. no hard launch just onset of boost and bang

Personal choice really Duke. i really like the fact that its a turbo car. i like the calm before the storm if that makes sense

I can check for you Chris. I had Karl make these up for me. his requirement was my desired CR and the CCs of the head for him to reach my desired CR.

96% for 12 hp so your shooting for 12.5 hp I'm sure those CV's must be terrified .
are you using the fancy lock bolts on the CV's ??
we'd like to see some pics of how it failed ...
I still think i tie rod from the bottom of the gear box to the rear rail will help save CV's as one gets stretched and one compressed ...
