Sydneyman: When you mean have the car gone through what would you suggest? Replace rod bearings. regualr maintence.... ? i know the 86 year had forged rods and the 87 had the weaker cast rods. I notice yours is an 87

DEFINITELY replace rod bearings... i also would suggest some type of venting solution that will pull oil to where it needs to be. some online vendors have their own kits...

Hi I'm interested in the LR exhaust and chips. I was wondering if you bought the chips and exhaust at the same time and chips were tuned for use with exhaust.

Thanks

mitfa911- bought the exhaust, chips, fpr, mbc, and the tial all at the same time and they were designed for each other. the only oddball thats not in a "lindsey" kit is the tial but that was because of personal preference... but yeah all bought and designed for use with each other.

Hey I really need that crossover and possibly the exhaust manifold. Do you have any pictures of the crossover at least? I have exhaust leaks in my exhaust manifold and crossover pipe, so assuming yours has no exhaust leaks and is in good condition I will definitely buy the crossover pipe and possibly the exhaust manifold.
I don't know which version of exhaust mani I have but I imagine it's interchangeable right?

actually im not so sure. i think the difference is where the "elbow" pipe from your wastegate ties in. there are two connections there that facilitate the use of "one piece" and "two piece" crossover pipes, which i think changed for the 87 model year. better ask someone more qualified than i just in case before you spend any money
