Well how did the testing at PIR and ORP go. I'd really be up for a vented fiberglass hood. Let's make this idea a reality.

Gotta admit. I didn't like the look of that extractor design at first... But now I'm getting attached to it. Gives me a good idea of what I'd be buying too, since your test car is black. My only reserve is how clean of a blend he can get on the vent. I don't really want any seems or lines. If it's really clean, I'm down.

Also, how does this play out for drag on the car? Any noticeable changes, good or bad?

Another factor to consider is the durability of the hood with regards to the underhood temperature.

I dont know how fiberglass holds up to heat but I know people have problems with their paint changing color once the underhood insulation comes off.

put insulation under it and all the venting talk is catching on
