I think you're going to have to compromise somehow Duke to get that thing to work. I reckon the best solution is to do what I've done and buy a separate lexan hatch and make up a mount inside the boot area. Swap it over for track events. I think that wing is too big for a day to day road car IMHO. Looks like it will generate some pretty hefty downforce on the track though. You'll have to get a decent splitter too.
Btw, are they Nittos on your car? Interesting pattern.

Can you move the mounting brackets? If you can and put it in a 'legal' position(within the outline of the body) it looks like it would find it's own position, or are you removing the rubber thing, it would probably stop separation.Nice wing
