Guy I'm buying my '86 951 off of has a set of original 16" phone dials, with decent tires on 'em (the brand/model escapes me at the moment, but they're practically new and semi-sticky.)
He offered to let me have 'em with the car for an extra $500, along with an extra set of PF97 brake pads, new-in-box.
Sounds kind of steep if you ask me, but I guess I wouldn't mind having an extra set of wheels kicking around. Is it worth it?
Not picking the car up for a few days, told him I'd think about the extra wheels.

+1. 15s/16s for the earlier models can bring more $$$ than the 87 and later era 944s as there simply fewer available. $500 for a full round with tires does not sound that unreasonable to me. Figure ~$3-400 for the rims depending on the condition...
